The Flipside of the British Empire is one that none volunteered to write so far, but something that had been preeminently written. It's something not read so far, but crucial for reading now. Had not this book been written, we would have been deprived of a huge body of essential knowledge about Gurkha soldiers. Everyone should read this book in order to develop a better understanding of history.
